As part of our ongoing efforts to promote cultural and historical awareness, on 8 November 2024, the project team organised an interactive archaeological workshop tailored for children. This event followed a series of lectures and a food demonstration, combining education and hands-on activities to inspire young minds.

Through engaging discussions on topics such as "What is archaeology?" and "What discoveries have been made in the Biokovo region?", participants were introduced to the fundamentals of archaeological research. The workshop’s highlight was a simulated archaeological excavation, complete with 3D-printed artefacts crafted by experts Fran Domazetović and GAL.

This immersive experience not only fostered curiosity about history but also provided children with an opportunity to connect with their cultural heritage in a meaningful way. The enthusiasm and inquisitiveness displayed by the young participants underscored the importance of such initiatives in shaping a deeper appreciation for our shared past.
